Vegan? Veggie? Just love good vibes? Barley’s is where you need to be. The staff are super friendly, and it’s perfect for a pre-lecture coffee. Try their vegan cheese toastie. Game changer.
Marla’s – Princes Avenue
A hidden gem for brunch and coffee. Indie atmosphere, strong brews, and the cinnamon bun is a proper experience. Worth the walk from campus, especially on a slow Sunday morning.
Thieving Harry’s – Humber Street
Brunch with a view? This place is right on the marina and great for people-watching. The coffee’s great, and the menu hits all the right notes. Grab your housemates and make a morning of it.
Ferens Art Gallery Café
For the arty types, this café is a quiet space to sit and sip. Surrounded by culture, it’s ideal when you want something a bit different.
Wetherspoons – On Campus
Say what you want, but you can’t argue with free refills. It’s cheap, cheerful, and you can crawl there from the library. No judgement here.
Druid Coffee – Chanterlands Avenue
One of Hull’s newest spots, and it’s already become a favourite. Laid-back and full of great bakes. Loads of room to spread out with your group project team.
